I've made no secret recently about how disappointed I was with some watch companies' responses to requests for information (IWC!!), so only fair to recount a good story.

I received a FedEx box yesterday containing a Breguet catalogue, packed with air packets to stop it moving and a price list in Canadian $ spearately sealed in an envelope.

Very professional presentation, and of course some very nice watches. The good news is that the wife approves of a number of the pieces that I like, the bad news is that Breguet haven't suddenly slashed prices 50% :(

I didn't have problems with IWC. It did take about three weeks but here's mine

The book is 2008 annual edition, I wonder have they yet made an 2009 edition. But I can't complain.

Glad that you got the catalogue without a hassle! I did get a very nice Panerai catalogue a few months ago as well, simply by requesting it on their website.
I also received outstanding service at a local Omega AD here in Vancouver at Oakridge Mall on Sunday. It is called Rodeo Jewellers, and I was absolutely blown away by their genuine friendliness and sincere desire to please.
Cheers,
Carl

It's a shame that we are so impressed by what should be expected, but there you go!

My wife went through the Breguet catalogue and approved of virtually all of them - and she saw the prices :D

Problem of course is that there are so many watches and so little money
