Post subject:	IWC Big Pilot Content!
Well, guess what? I am now the proud owner of............................an IWC Big Pilot!! In a stroke of good fortune, the guy who was next in line for a BP at my AD dropped out at the last minute (I believed I was top of the list, but I guess they'd already ear-marked this one for this guy previously), so the AD gave me a call a few days ago to tell me that if I wanted it, the one coming in a couple of days was mine for the taking! Obviously I thought about it........ for all of 5 seconds( ) and after a call today to tell me it was in, off I went to pick it up at lunchtime! Needless to say, it's absolutely superb! The quality is nothing short incredible. Obviously I'd handled one before, but now I've had a couple of hours with this one, and I think I could quite easily run out of superlatives for it. Anyway I won't waffle on too much about it here as it's obviously a Breitling forum(!), so here's a few of my feeble quality pics. (I've not even had chance to set the date yet!)

I must be honest, it's nice to have another non-Breitling piece back in the collection too. The way things are going hopefully there'll be a couple more "interesting" things appearing before the year is out. But for now I'm chuffed to have this beauty on my wrist! PS - Looking forward to seeing pics of that BI too, if you buy it!

Congrats Driver, I'm impressed you managed to stop staring at it for long enough to post this thread. It looks great on your wrist, and somehow I don't think you're going to regret joining the IWC club. By way of warning, however, one isn't going to be enough. But you knew that already, right?

I can only say I'm surprised you had to think for a whole 5 seconds Seriously though that is an absolutely stunning piece, it does look great on your wrist and brilliant that you didn't have to wait that long to receive!! Thanks a lot for the kind comments guys. I really REALLY love this watch! There's not a single thing about it that I don't like....... and that to me is the most important thing when buying a watch. As I said above I could wax lyrical about it at considerable length, but this is a Breitling place so I'll respect that and keep my waxing to a minimum!
