I just got a new Eterna Airforce Chrono a couple days ago.. and I really like this watch. Uses the Valjoux 7750 movement.. sameas the one in the Breitling Caliber 13. Very nice watch, has the same feel to me as the Tag Aquaracer Chrono... Not as much wrist presence as a Breitling, but nice fit and very nice dial and subdials.. I'll post pics soon. :)

Anyone else tried any Eternas or anything else new lately?

Thanks! I really enjoy this Eterna.. for the price I'm not sure if it can be beat... not many Valjoux 7750's out there of this quality for this price... I think the other brand that will have some is Hamilton.. the X-Wind and the Frogmans are a great value. Sometimes it makes me question why I pay the premium for a Breitling... Case design and accuracy.. and i suppose the price makes it a little more exclusive too.

I like the black dial and the bezel style.

I hear ya about the extra cash for Breitlings and other similarly priced brands.

The dial, case, and bracelet finish on a breitling is worth it. I've owned more Breitlings than any other brand and I'm still amazed at the overall style and finish of Breitling watches.

For example, I wore my friend's Oris chronograph for a week. Nice watch. Great value. But didn't have the same feeling and admiration of wearing my Breitling watches.

Right now I'm enjoying my new Omega Aqua Terra. Fine watch. Love my Rolex Explorer too. Oh and my most beloved watch, Chronomat Evo, still melts my heart.

So many excellent watches out there. So little money. haha

Doesn't have to expensive, doesn't have to have a great name, but it has to bring a smile to my face.

Currently looking at Nivrel and Nomos watches. Looks beautiful in pictures, I'd love to try one on but don't think there are any sellers here in Vancouver. Great value too.

Straight up. I love the look of nomos watches.. and good price for in house movement. Just got to Vancouver today my dad loved this Eterna so much he just claimed it and gave me his old Quartz Tag Heuer that he's wanted to replace. Its his now! But I have a couple of Versace Madison automatics coming in... the ones that are made by Ebel. Look really good to me!
