Post subject:  Any Rolex professors?

I'm in a quandry and my Rolex knowledge is limited.

I've fallen for a James Cameron DeepBlue, my AD is offering an unworn, 2016, pristine watch with a years warranty for £13,000. He won't budge on price and I'm not sure what to do.

The RRP from WOS etc. is £10,250 and I assume that would be a 20-21 plate but again, I don't know.......also the two WOS dealers I've spoke too have none in stock and 2 AD's either have none and one has a 9yr wait list on the Deep Blue.

Not sure what to do here.

Any advice appreciated.

Check Chrono 24 for price history and value. I also check DavidSW and what he has for sale on his website. That is where I buy my Rolex watches, he is a big name in the grey market and pretty much has the most influence with the secondary market Rolex crowd on pricing.

If that is the asking price and you cannot get the watch anywhere else cheaper (or at all), then that is what you will have to pay if you want it. The alternative is to move on.
