The big birthday is next week and I ended up going with the grey dial Seamaster. The dial just looks amazing in person and I can't wait to get it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's here next week since they need to bring it in from another store. I'll just post the same pic as before from the boutique when I tried it on for now and hopefully update once it arrives.

Here are a couple of shots from the weekend. This arrived on Saturday and it's been on my wrist ever since. The watch is extremely comfortable and the quick adjustment feature on the bracelet has come in handy on these hot humid days. I've got an Omega nato strap coming as well this weekend which will be nice to have but the bracelet has been very comfortable overall.

A great solution for people who like the Seamaster on bracelet but don't like the original - I'm in that camp, not chiefly because of the lack of taper but because of the lack of adjustability (it's unwearable for me) - is the new Forstner 1450.
