I have heard that allot of the Monacos. Everyone who has one complains its unwearable.

The modern day Autavia is a great homage to the original, I just dislike TAG nowadays, those Connect smartphone things killed the brand for me.

Fred's post inspired me to do a little bit of research (the first 5 links in google) and I found this piece from Breitling from last summer: https://www.breitling.com/us-en/news/de ... ture-23666 Of course, he is mentioned, but I found the selection of photographed watches interesting especially considering Breitling's recent social media posts.

Here is another piece on Jim Clark and his Top Time: http://www.automobiliac.com/automobilia ... -time.html

Anyway, I wasn't aware or Breilting's racing connection.

Altair, there is something about the new Autavias that just bother me. I think its the proportion of the bezel, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Have you tried it on?

Thanks for the heads up, Fred. I guess I learned a very important lesson: don’t believe everything you read on the internet. :)

That quote is generally attributed to Abraham Lincoln...
