Excuse my French, but Trinity my ass! Patek, AP, and VC put together maybe able to come up with something close, but not quite, that heavenly. This is JLC reminding the world who has the biggest guns in town. All the finnese of Patek, the elegance of VC, the audacity of AP, and then some! All wrapped in a wonderfully balanced package with every complication that matters absolutely perfected.

I am in awe. This is a monumental step for humanity. I feel like I just watched the moon landing live and didn't know it was happening.

I am just speechless! I WILL own that one day! It might be years from now, after I retire, every responsibility behind me, all my watches sold to assist in obtaining man's greatest horological feat of engineering/art.

And hey, no date at 4:30!!!

Lol. My first reaction when seeing it was, “Oh, Driver is going to HATE that date!”

I’m not APs target here. They are nice but not my cup of tea.

That "Master Grande Tradition Gyrotourbillon Westminster Perpétuel" is not too bad is it.

OK, so that's watchmaking taken care of then : no-one else needs to bother anymore! Absolutely hands-down incredible and gorgeous in equal measure. I'd even happily wear that with the display back on the outside.

As close as I think I've ever seen to perfection all round.

Does it get any better than that? Even the buckle is a work of art with a fine adjustment system.

Absolutely unbelievable. Most incredible and beautiful watch I have ever seen. Better than anything I've ever seen from PP, ALS, VC or ALS.

It is truly stunning, on both a technical and aesthetic level.

Only 18 of these will be made.

Incredible.

For us common folk, the blue enamel dial Master Ultra Thin Moon isn't a bad option, but there's only 100 of those sold through the boutiques.

Thank you for posting that video, its likely going to be years before I can own one, lets all think positive and hope! But regardless, merely seeing it online and knowing it exists is a delight. I truly hope JLC do one of their exhibition shows and showoff this piece, it would be fantastic to experience it up close.

That enamel dial is a winner too! I expect JLC will be introducing more and more Enamel dials in the future.

Looks like a very slow year at Glashutte. The Lange novelties are out, pretty boring stuff from one of my favorite brands. I was really hoping for an update to the Lange 1 Timezone, an already fantastic watch but I was sure it was about time for a refresh. Seems that one is yet to come.

The Zeitwerk date was done right however. This is one that Diver will surely appreciate:

Same with Vacheron, seems like everyone is just piling on the blue dial trend. Their limited annual calendar last year was a beast of a release and I was hoping they would keep on, maybe next year. Everyone seems to be oohing and aahing at the ultra thin PC OS:
https://www.ablogtowatch.com/vacheron-c ... hin-watch/

I just don't get blue dial on gold.

The update to the base Royal Oak was done right, with a new in house movement.

I think IWC did a great job with the new Spitfires.
https://www.iwc.com/en/specials/sihh-20 ... tches.html

the new Panerais are confusing. They have an overpriced G Shock look to them, but might feel different in person.

https://www.******.com/articles/paner ... ntroducing

The PAM00983 looks fantastic, but will be prohibitively expensive for what it is. I do hope they follow through with the design and color combo though.
https://www.******.com/articles/paner ... ntroducing

The recycled titanium actually looks great. Unfortunately this is also a very limited ultra expensive colaboration:

I have to say I was caught off guard by Hermes:

https://www.******.com/articles/herme ... ntroducing

That's a great looking piece, with an elegant take on the double moonphase. The only drawback is that it is a Hermes. I just don't feel comfortable liking that brand, though I went through a similar transition with Cartier before I became a fan.

If it had a Breguet or JLC logo on it I would be rushing to get my name on the waiting list. Still, at 25.5 k for so much innovation and a truly beautiful 43MM WG watch is pretty compelling. That's about what a WG Sky Dweller goes for.

Another brand I associated with fashion watches that is demanding attention is Montblanc, their acquisition of Minerva was a winner move, and the new Salmon dial pulsograph is a killer:

Given the parade of familiar offerings, the AP Code 11.59 is looking better all the time.

Same goes for the Freak X.

Laurent Ferrier has a nice new offering.

GP has some intriguing new pieces, as well.

He shouldn't be so upset. Let the watche sales do the talking man.
