For those of you that have always liked the vintage watches and the classic Copilot/AVI 765/7650 style chronographs, this might be a viable alternative. It's funny how a small company can put together a tribute watch when the original company chooses not to do one. I love the fact that it's a more modern 42mm in size and has a reliable Miyota quartz movement to power it. I have one coming because I think it will make a great daily wearer without having to worry about damaging an original. Plan to mount it on my trusty (maybe crusty) custom 22x16mm long leather strap and see how it works out. For the asking price I don't see how you can go wrong. Actually I'm thinking about buying the black bezel version too (yes I did try to just buy a spare bezel to swap but no go).

Yes, this firm do a super job of recreating iconic styles from way back. Check out their take on the Super Compressor style with twin (cross-hatched!) crowns and internal moveable bezel.
