The channel's entire catalogue of videos is interesting. The team at Watchfinder & Co are obviously real watch enthusiasts and they really do know what they are talking about, and can speak intelligently and with passion of every level of watch available, from Seiko to Oris to Lange.

Here is another one:

I love the fact that they did not consider the overrated Daytona! I do disagree on their conclusion, and maintain that the Navitimer is the greatest chronograph of all time, the Datograph the best engineered, and the Patek 5170 the finest.

But that's what's so fun about this hobby, we all have our views and passions. Again, their passion and knowledge shine through. I am very impressed by this company made up of true enthusiasts!

Agreed, they really do know their stuff, plus Watchfinder are a fantastic company to deal with as well, delivering truly excellent customer service in my experience.

On the Patek vs Lange video, I found it odd that I found the Patek more modern-looking than the Lange! Difficult toss up between those two - the Patek has the looks, the Lange has the movement detail, the patek has the better beat rate, but the Lange offers better value for money with the price. Difficult one!

On the second video I find myself agreeing with them on the Speedmaster being the greatest (although I'm equating "greatest" with "most iconic"), with the Navi a close second.

I might actually try them out, as I am looking to trade a few pieces. I am working with Govberg right now, lets see how that progresses though.

You know that video brought back fond memories of this forum, I remember doing a series here, Clash of the Titans, comparing popular important pieces. God that was fun to do!

I'd forgotten how good your reviews were, Altair! Great stuff, and still a good read 8 years later!

One other thing I noticed was how many responses posts used to get back then. Also good to see some of the old (and long gone) names there too.... :(

Thank you for the kind words. I actually agree

Seiousely, it’s amazing how much my English has deteriorated. I have not been using it for years! Another benefit of posting actively on Breitlingsource: practice your English !

It’s been about 8 years since I attempted macro photography or to write passionately about any of my hobbies.please humor me, I will find a day off soon and sit down to do a new clash of the titans. Any requests from the collection?
