Hey Guys,

I joined last month and I wanted to say thanks for all the useful info here. This is a really great resource for Breitling owners.

I also want to ask some advice on selling on this forum. I posted an ad for my 2008 Airwolf and didn't get any replies. I removed the ad to figure out what I was doing wrong. Having never sold on this forum I figured I would ask for some advice from those with more experience.

What's the "must include" info? And how should I safely ship and receive payment? I'm in Canada.

Thanks in advance.

Dougie B

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

As a brand new member people are going to be wary of a sales thread - you are an unknown quantity and the forum hasn't been immune from scammers in the past. The sales rules provide the 'must have' stuff but you will also help your cause by including clear photos that show the condition, description of condition, contact details, etc. Buyers will look for PayPal for their peace of mind on payment and if you have references from other forums or eBay that will also help.

Of course price is also a major factor, and not all watches sell in just a day or so.

If you are looking to move it fairly quickly and you're in Vancouver I would suggest paying time and gold a visit. You probably won't get as much as a private sale but you should be able to work a deal with them on a trade in if you're looking for another ling. ask for Mark. He will take care of you

Hey guys,

Thanks for the advice here. I'll check out the sales rules, and try my listing again. Unfortunately I'm in Toronto, so the Vancouver connection won't work for me.

You may want to mention in your ad that you are located in Toronto and that a Face-to-Face transaction is welcome.

There are a lot of people that prefer face-to-face and Toronto is a big city, so you my have some luck. They can even have the watch verified before the deal.

Good Luck!
