What do people here think of this watch? I was recently watching Lucky # Slevin and I thought it looked amazing. I am considering a purchase, but do IWC's hold their value well and how legitimate is the company?

IWC was ranked #1 in the LBSI (Luxury Brand Status Index) back in March of this year... and the Richemont group has stated that they are one of their most succesful brands of late. The Richemont group includes Cartier, Piaget, A. Lange & Sohne, Jaeger LeCoultre, Vacheron Constantin, Montblanc, Baume et Mercier, and more. So IWC is certainly in good company. Having said all that, after trying on the Aquatimer, I don't really want one anymore.. maybe that bigger Couteau version... but now the only IWC that I might be interested in buying is the Portugese Chrono, but considering the movement, it is slightly overpriced in my opinion. It should at least have one of IWC's in-house movements at that price!

I agree with several of your points. I was researching the watch and for the price I am not impressed. Titanium throughout and at first I thought it was priced thousands less than it's MSRP. Perhaps it wasn't ment to be. For the price of a IWC Aquatimer, I might as well get another ling or GMT-II Rolex.
