Hi, everyone.

I stopped by a local AD the other day and took a closer look at the new Omega PO Chrono. It looks great!
However, when I tried it on it was just way too thick. I thought my SO II Chrono was thick (which it is), but the PO almost seemed ridiculous. Too bad, because other than that it seemed like a winner. The display-back is particularly nice,

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

I thought exactly the same thing, I was really excited about it having seen a lot of info online but when I went into the AD to try it on it was just was too bulky. Im also quite put off by the matt finished bezel. I much prefer the non chrono version but I really do like the display back.

Me too, know the effect way too well... Magnificent watch... But not for me. I am very intrigued by an aqua terra though... That might be just what my watch-lust is aiming for these days...

I tried on the latest aqua terra model and it does come across as a very nice watch... but I think if I wanted to go for something alone the aqua terra lines I would rather pickup the JLC master hometime I was looking at recently.

The thing is though, the Aqua Terra would be for me a bit of an Ersatz for an Explorer I, which I love, but which has neither the date function, which I need, nor the sapphire back, which I want. Aside from that it is also quite a whole lot larger at 43mm.

The JLC, and believe me, that has been on my radar for quite a while indeed, is very different in that regard. It has a very own style, but could never settle the dispute between my brain and my heart of which the only object is to determine wether to go for an explorer (heart) or the AT (head).

The problem that causes is obvious then... It'll ultimately make me buy 3 watches ;)
