Post subject:  Keychain watch tool?
Is there something that I can hang on my car keys that has a link pin tool or something similar? I'm envisioning a tiny screwdriver set that screws together into a little tube or capsule. I want something small and light, since I have enough junk on my keychain as it is.

When I leave the house, it's usually somewhat cool, and my watch fits perfectly. It's so hot and humid by the afternoon, however, that my watch will normally be uncomfortably tight and I'd like a tool to make a quick adjustment. I guess that's why I love my Ocean Racer, but I need at least one watch on a bracelet... :)

there is a watch tool swiss army knife by ? wenger I think

they do a range of 3 models called the minathor

I knew about that knife, but it's a bit bulky for my keys and I don't really need anything but a pin tool. I'm a knife guy anyway and always have a knife on me. Thanks for the info, though, as I had forgotten the name of that knife and wanted to check it out.

What I want need not be a watch tool per se; just something that's easy to carry around with which I can adjust my bracelet on the fly.

Ross, most optometrists/opticians sell a keychain screwdriver for tightening glasses, simply file the sharp edges from the tool and it would be a perfect pocket pin adjuster

I'll see If I can find a photo for you.

If you're talking about just adjusting the fine adjustments in the clasp I use a plain wooden toothpick, which I keep in the ashtray of my truck. The pointed end works perfectly, and obviously, I don't have to worry about scratches. It takes less than 15 seconds.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I like that eyeglass tool idea, I'll probably go with that. The toothpick idea got me thinking too... I have a spare "spy capsule" for my keychain, and I can cut down a small piece of titanium rod to fit in there. I can then turn the Ti down on my drill press to form a point and heat color it - that would be a fancy pin tool! :D

That's a great idea Ross... wholesale it! I'll take one or five! :D Maybe we could get Peter Atwood to fancy it up.

Someone on EDC Forums already makes a Ti toothpick, I was just borrowing his idea... :wink: Unfortunately, the toothpicks are $25 each, another guy on EDC makes a case for 2 toothpicks from scratch, goes for $55. I got some 1/8" Ti rod on order, let's see if I can come up with something that's not so costly.
