Finally got around to picking my Oris up. I was somewhat reluctant, but now that I have it I am VERY pleased I did, easily as well made as any Omega or Breitling at its price range. Presentation is top notch too. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It is hard to photograph this watch's character, kinda have to see it to truly appreciate how gorgeous it is. The detail on the dial is striking. Very cool watch that would add great diversity to a well rounded collection. I love the strap, very good quality and the design is cool, it is made of a standard style strap but instead of being fastened at one end of the watch it goes through and to the other end where you fasten that end into place. That strap is staying put!!! Very sturdy and has that suiting up feeling, loving it! Now, lets talk about the elephant in the room. The rather large vertical crown. It is the reason most people overlook this watch, and the reason I fell in love with it. Functionally it is ingenious, quick adjustments and very exact, visually t adds an unusual flair to the watch that I enjoy. It will not work with most of what I wear but if you are looking for an aviator look with a leather jacket, there you go. I would ideally like to get the Navi World for my chrono world timer, but the QC issues steered me clear, this is doing nicely for now. heres hoping for a 45MM World with a reasonable water resistance and maybe an alarm(since im dreaming and all). That would make a great travel watch! Their designs are not for everyone, but if you like one of their designs; JUMP on the Oris train. The value is unbeatable |

Could not agree more. The big crown does put me off the aviation range, but Oris value is unbelievable - sapphire crystal, display back automatics starting at around $600. |

Nice going Altair. That's the first one I've seen other than the publicity photos. Looking good! ![]() |
