Alexey Asvarisch is an Russian watchmaker..
I´m new to watches, so I havent heard about him..
But I found a watch made by him on an auction I think is quite nice.

stainless steel, saphire glass, automatic, power reserve, date, day and month as you can se on the images.

Some more information:

I can´t seem to find anything on the internet..
Just some auctions (general auctionhouses like ebay) and one place where it was a award in a non prof. golf championship...
So it seems to me that Alexey Asvarisch is rubbish..

Are you sure it´s chinese?
The auctionhouse (and this house tries it best to be serious) states that it´s russian produced. But they have been wrong before..

I saw a "frank mueller" (sic) with the same dial/movement for $20 in rome, the rotor has a plate glued onto it with whatever you like stamped into it....look more closely and the cheapo movement is retained by a plastic ring.

at least its not a fake, just a cheapo....bit like the klaus kobec sunday supplement watches......sell for £100-150 cost around $15 for the watch and the same for the box!!

I may be wrong......but I don't think so, you will find the chrono pushers actually move the day and month wheels (I've seen the same movement in the cheapest bentley fakes)

You did the right thing by checking them out on the internet. Occasionally you will see random makes suddenly turning up and alleging a long and esteemed heritage of watchmaking, only to find out that they are in fact..... total shite!
