Photo? If its not real gold... then its fake... Omega never plated anything AFAIK. |

No expert on vintage Omegas, but I believe that it's the same as Breitling - stainless steel caseback is an indication of a rolled gold or gold plated watch, only the solid gold ones had gold casebacks. |

Really? The AD told me all their Omega's are solid gold... Damn lucky i didn't pull the trigger on that 2 tone. The price was very tempting, but something in the back of my head said don't do it. I would be pretty pissed to pay for solid gold and get some plated crap. |

Waaaay too general a question, as there are about a million different Seamster varieties in the Omega stable during that era. Is it solid gold or gold plated? A time/date-type watch or a chronograph?
