So I was on another forum that I frequent, and there was a watch discussion thread where I was told my newly purchased Navitimer World was a fake.

So, I know I purchased this from an authorized dealer, all the paperwork etc, but what can i do to prove this is in fact real.

:real:

Was this another watch forum? If so, calling a watch out because you might not be the world's best photographer is bad form. I only ever report watches when I can 100% positively identify it as fake.

As to why yours is real, the Navi World fake is very easy to spot. Wings logo too small, marks on the slide rule don't run all the way to the edge, date font is way out (unlike yours!)...

Hope this can settle the matter.

That watch is most certainly legitimate.

The Navi world replica is not so crash hot.

Don't take it too seriously - these kind of remarks are very often trolls just trying to provoke.
