Last night while I was eating dinner, my doorbell rang. I went outside and there was a package sitting out there addressed to me. I wasn't expecting anything, so I opened it and it was my IWC catalog. About a month ago I called an IWC boutique and requested a catalog. Since it took so long, they felt urged to send me an IWC hat, bag, magazine, a handwritten note of appology and the catalog.

I'd agree. I've always been a big fan of the Chronolog (I've got all of them since the Chronolog started), and I look forward to the new one like some people look forward to a new Harry Potter book! But in the last 9 months or so I've been taking a much greater interest in other manufacturers and some of their catalogs are truly superb - IWC's is more like a novel that a mere catalogue. 
Another really nice touch from IWC is that all the main head-on pictures of the watches are life-sized, so it REALLY gives you an idea of what they look like in the metal.
