Had this watch inspected locally and was told movement is Breitling but cannot find it anywhere on the web or any instructions on how to use it. Anyone know anything about it?

movement isn't "Breitling" but a Valjoux triple date chrono, most probably an R730, the high beat version of the R72C. Watch was produced by Charles Gigandet, marketed by Wakmann in the US under it's own brand, as Gigandet, Vulcain and w/ AOPA branding like this one.

these (very nice) watches are often advertised as "Breitling" to raise value, but the only connection
to Breitling is the fact that Wakmann was the US distributor for Breitling and the movements were marked w/ the same WOG code for US imports.

mini-manual:
pushbutton at 10 sets the month, button at 8 sets the date hand, weekday sets manually by moving the hands forward until u reach the desired day.
pusher at 2 starts and stops the chronograph, pusher at 4 resets.
crown sets and winds it.

Thank you any idea of value or if it would be considered a collectors item?
