Cool concept of using a blue to black dial however, the execution is god awful. I hate it. Put that dial on the 40mm SD and the opinions may change a bit but in the DSSD I think it looks awful...and the green font of DEEPSEA looks hideous. Swing an a miss!!!

I agree entirely. The concept is really great: the ocean really does have that blue- to- black fade. But the execution of the fade doesn't work and the green just misses the mark.

I think if you actually had it on your wrist, it would look cheap & tacky from a distance.

It reminds me of this fakejust

Well. It's publicity shots only so who knows what it will really look like in the flesh. It's nothing I hanker for, but some will find it desirable. For Rolex, I think it's ok.

Agreed. I don't mind it at first glance - I think it looks interesting - but who knows how it will turn out in the flesh. At least it's something different (although that's not always good  )

I like it, but I'm not a traditional rolex lover.

Let's call it the Deep-Seaweed.

The green text is horrible. Then there's just too much text on the watch itself.

I can live with the new dial colour, but a blue bezel would have been nice.
