Ill bring up the Big Pilot pusher issue.

You did bring it up and his response is classic. "Oh its a real IWC but has an aftermarket case, crown, differential gear for the PR dial(aftermarket), along with the slipping clutch device and the auto date change gears are aftermarket" and don't forget "The red on the PR dial is also intentional, because as you know, the original PR dial/markers are not marked in this manner, so as not to be passed off as original, and though I never entertained the idea of getting a white aftermarket replacement dial, as I said, this gentleman would not put one in, for anyone, unless he could verify it as authentic. I have all receipts for work done, along with the individual components itemized."

What?!?!?!

Seems he lives in Pittsburgh. Next time I am on the golf course maybe I will run into him and see what he is wearing. It is terrible what he is going thru though. Maybe the watches are putting him in a better place mentally and that why he is so adamant about them being 'real"

I find that whole thing very sad. I am sure that he is hoping that the thread will just die off, he's clearly dug a hole for himself that he doesn't know how to get out of. Who knows what he is thinking, especially with everything else that he has going on, but as more people see through his explanations that thread is going to get ugly.

Quite interesting to see a couple of BSource members are active on golfwrx. It stuck out immediately when I saw the photo of the skeleton Tissot accompanied by a shirt that has been forever branded on my retinas. :P

The watches are sad and clearly fake. The man's health is one story, but trying to impress the uninformed with fake watches is just poor form and a lack of character.

That shirt is pimp and you know it!

I've been a member of WRX since 2006, and collected putters since 2005. Now the watches take up my putter fund.

But yeah, this guy is in another world, feel sorry for him.

Funny because I randomly PMed JAH on golfwrx and mentioned that I was thinking of posting this to the watch site I frequent....which turned out to be here where he had already posted it lol. I honestly dont feel bad, but I also dont want to be part of somebody going though a difficult time and me having something to do with making it worse. My mind is straddling the line between calling a spade a spade, and just sort of letting him let it fade away.

RJ- I'm with you, I'm done with that thread. I just didn't want him taking advantage of a newbie by potentially selling them a fake piece. I think we're the only collectors on WRX anyways, so whatever.

I'm sorry he's having health issues, I really am, but still no excuse to do what he's doing.

There's no excuse for criminally stealing a huge amount of money from potential victims. He should be prosecuted!

Yeah, I didn't mean so much the discussing of watches on there ; more the weirdness of that guy's behaviour.

Oh well, each to their own I guess, although it's still a total head-scratcher to me why he'd do it.

No way he thinks those are real, he's posted at least 17 watches, and they're all fake!
