Just saw one of these at the AD - I'm not a big fan of Zenith, but this really is a nice watch. They had the gold but the watch is also available in stainless - http://www.zenith-watches.com/scripts/g ... geid=3_2_1

Not sure I'd spend that much on something that wasn't a Breitling (steel lists for $13,000 or so, gold for over $30,000), but it's a great looking piece and you're obviously paying for the El Primero movement

I like the black dial w/ Black croco strap.

Very classy!

I really like the open Zeniths, but a lot tend to to be a little too dressy for me, unless you go for the Defy range (both the Classic and Xtreme models are superb IMHO)

Beautiful watch, but too classy for me.

The Defy just doesn't do it for me - I want to like it, but can't bring myself to. I know what you mean about dressy - the retrograde version of the Chronomaster was there too and that certainly gave me that sense, but somehow this one didn't seem too bad.

Beautiful watch.. i'd be happy with the non-big date one though.. much less money.. around $8500 I think at US List? Unless it has gone up.
