here's the Co-Pilot AVI Mk1.2 from 1953 that we used as the "master sample" for the design process saying hallo.
if you have a loupe you'll see that minuterie "ticks" & all numerals have minuscule serifs, almost invisible without a loupe, but making the font crisp & sharp - and have a look how many different "3" you'll find....
took 6 proto runs to get all right ;)
