Anyone have any side by side pics of the Sub-C and the Chronomat 44 (or 41)? Thanks in advance!

I found this in a Google search. Turns out it was posted by our friend Justin Nelson. Thanks, Justin.

Hi. Is that a pre-ceramic submariner and is it 47mm or 44mm Chronomat ??

It's already been confirmed that's a Sub-C. Just imagine how small a non-maxi case Sub would look next to a Chronomat 44.

That particular Chronomat LE was only ever made in 44mm.

Wow, the difference is huge, and exactly why I have just got rid of my 47mm Chromomat GMT and bought a Chromomat 41, to complement my Rolex Daytona.

I think the one and only true rival of the Daytona on the market nowadays is the Chronomat 41... manufacture chronograph movement, similar case shape, similar size and wear, similar power reserve, screw-down everything. Daytona clearly wins at the escapement feature while Chronomat 41 wins at a few things: better waterresistance rating, better daytime and nighttime visibility at some dial versions, wider dial and strap options, date feature (would look much better at 6 o'clock though), turning count-up bezel - last two very important for me. B01 could be improved mainly at the escapement - Breguet (or silicone) hairspring, micro-screws, other silicone escapement parts, balance bridge - at least in my book... a weekday (or simple full calendar) feature, maybe flyback and big date, central minute counter so additional features ("small complications") and escapement. Otherwise it's perfect. I love mine (blackeye-blue for me always). Tried the Chronommat 44 on my 6.75" wrist several times and always fount it to be way too large... 41 is the perfect fit! For those who do not want to wear a Rolex but like the style and features, need a date window and a turning bezel - no better option on the market! (Just my opinion only of course.)
OP, enjoy your beauty!
Robert
