Thanks for the welcome guys!

And o though wearing it on a couple of Strap options might help the cravings for another Breitling!

Great watch!

This is one my favorite Chronomat dial combos as well. It looks great!

I recommend some Breitling Pro III or Ocean racer on the push button diver clasp. Very comfortable and gives it a sporty look.

Really, you can't go wrong.

Yes I will certainly be buying a few Straps for my Breitling, it will be a week tomorrow when I walked out of the AD where I bought it new, and never been off my Wrist apart from work, always loved Breitling Watches and feel lucky to have this one, Chronomat are my favorite model and the Avenger would be my second choice, so my Grail Watch!

To post just for fun. I tried this on yesterday at Geneva Seal in Chicago:

I like the different bezel, but really a guy should have both styles:

Here it is next to my baby:

I went with a Navitimer over a Chronomat, but will eventually have to get both!

Both very nice Watches!

There's a Breitling Strap I fancy getting for mine, it's Black with a Red under lay, think it would match the Red second hand and Red text over the bottom sub Dial

Congratulations Matt! While there are many haters for the Chronomat 44(due to the bezel and centre square), I am personally a big fan and feel that it's the best watch ever produced. The design concept is very original and has the most attention to details I have ever come across. To me it has the perfect balance of form and function. Yr flying fish is one of my favorite combos and certainly you got to buy different straps to maximize the versatility of this watch. Do test yr watch the next 1 mth for the time gain/loss and Chronograph functionality however as there has been some common issues with the movement before that seems to have lessened over the years. I personally only experienced a 10 sec/day loss in late 2012 initially after I purchased the watch, but came back perfect after service and had no issues every since.

Enjoy yr grail and here's mine:

Very nice Watch you have there, love the case back and looks great on the Bracelet, I know what people mean by the square on the dial but they look quite subtle unlike some photo's!

I got 40% discount on my Chronomat as the AD had stopped selling Breitling and was clearing their last few Watches, so had choice of the chronomat on rubber for £3460 or an Avenger 2 chronograph on steel from another AD for £3500, I thought the flying fish was the better deal considering the RRP's of both Watches but was still a close call

Wow 40%. Definitely a deal of your lifetime! A pity you didn't buy it on pilot bracelet because that would be the best combo to have.
