Today marks the 42nd anniversary of splashdown in the south Pacific ocean of the last manned spacecraft to visit another heavenly body. The Commander, Gene Cernan, was the 12th and last man to leave human footprints on our moon's barren surface. I am most certain he would have appreciated the technology of this timepiece developed almost two generations later. I am wearing it today in honor of Gene and all our Astronaut corp...
