I've been in the market for a new watch recently, and was going to go down the Rolex route with either a DJII or a Submariner.
I wanted a thinner watch (than my Avenger) and something with an in-house movement.

I also considered the Chronomat 44 as I've always planned to own a Chronomat of some sort at some point, and since I managed to get a good deal on a brand new one, I had to snap it up.

Despite the mixed feelings about the bezel and the grid on the dial, I really love the look of both. It gives the watch a more contemporary look.Image

Side by side with my Avenger. I was supposed to sell the Avenger after the purchase of the Chronomat because they look quite similar, but whenever I put the Avenger on, I fall in love with it again. So I think I'll keep it for now.Image

I'm really liking the watch at the moment, and love the look of the dial. I was going to get the BEG one, but glad I went for this combo in the end (even if it is the same as my avenger) as it's so iconic.
When it catches the light, it looks amazing and I can't stop staring at it.

Also, the lume is great on this.
