not as far as I have seen, Andrew.

bought that watch from the son of the original owner; story goes that the father took the relatively new watch to an air show and found the bezel had fallen off when he came back home; was so angry about it that he just put it in a drawer and there it remained for the next decades, surprisingly the crystal shows a bit of crazing, but the rest of the watch is quite impeccable.
