I'm sure no one has done this before, as I have never seen mention of it on this or other forums. Anyhow, I always wondered why diamond bezels were only installed on watches that were pretty shiny anyway - polished case, polished markers, MOP dial, etc. Lots of men's jewelry is more subtle, with diamonds on brushed stainless or titanium. Because I was keeping my CA, no matter what (another story), I decided to fix it up a bit and I bought a Pro II ($675!!) and a diamond bezel. The bracelet is brand new even though the watch is over 5 years old, that's why the case shows a lot more wear than the bracelet. I should've got the case refinished while I was at it. Anyway, what do you think? Looks good? Looks silly?

I'm not a diamond guy, but that looks good - I love the contrast, it makes the diamonds stand out more without making it look out of place.

Yeah - I like the look of that. I'm not into diamonds on watches but that's understated enough for me to like it.

Is that an official bezel? Looks good.

Thanks for all the kind words, I thought I might get hammered for putting diamonds on a CA. I was never much of a diamond guy until I started hanging out here. I blame it all on Nelson. :P

Yup, it's the original bezel, the jeweler said that it was a little more difficult to work on Ti.

I'm not a big diamond guy, but I think diamonds look best on a polished piece.

Interesting look though on brushed metal.

Very interesting look.....looks really good.....yea....blame it on Nelson....that will work for me......

Question: I know someone asked above.....where did you get the diamond bezel?

Wear it proudly.......looks very attractive....I especially like the blue and ice combination...

I agree, im not a diamond guy but something about your watch with that bezel. It looks really unique and less flashy. Ti and diamonds work nicely together! Great photos too!

As earlier said, really interesting!

When I saw the headline I though "What the hell?" but seeing the pics it really is not bad. The contrast is beautiful.

Did you let the jeweller work on the direct bezel, or did you order a separate one?
