Yup, the blue sharky strap was hideous

here it is in its newly arrived black strap

somewhat better methinks and a viable alternative to the bracelet.

Much better!

I don't know what it is about the professional range but they always seem to change up their looks dramatically when you change the strap / bracelet.

A great combo!

Jeez Doc that looks TERRIBLE!!!
I tell you want you need.... you need a nice light blue sharkskin strap on that black dial B1!

LOL! Needless to say, the black is MUCH better Doc! That's a great look for the B1.

Yup

Sets it off a treat!

I've started the search for my next watch and have plumped for a B1 - would you suggest the early or late one? Any noteable difference?

Will have to get a strap - to match the face of course - as an alternative to the bracelet.

Thanks for the pics.

early or late...doesn't really matter, just make sure its sound....mine was on ebay and I emailed the chap (who'd just bought an airwolf) and made him an offer.......£900 with all papers/receipts etc etc on a bracelet....even better he was only 20 mins from me!

if you cannot find one, the new (non-fluted dial) airwolf would be a close competitor (though dearer)

Done it John!

Ordered from Watchfinder this morning. Same model as yours but with a blue face - have wanted a blue face since I got my Aerospace which was supposed to be blue but the one I ordered didn't arrive in time.

Arrives Wednesday, just in time for my hols.

Can't wait.

Hi John

Yes wouldn't mind at all - have been trawling for a strap & clasp but although I've found a clasp to watch the blue strap that size is being a bit more tricky.

PM if you want & we can agree a price.

Cheers

The Black strap compliments the black face really good!

Nice job!
