As promised, here is my newest acquisition - 1995 Cosmonaute A12023 Display Back. Apologies for the quality of the photography - combination of lack of talent and my wife's complex camera, but hopefully the beauty of this amazing piece will still come through. I don't really need to say anything about the watch - it speaks for itself.

Nice, what is the antique firearm with it?

Thought someone might ask that......

It's a ceremonial piece used by the British East India Company circa 1840. Was never made to be used - the MOP would have fallen off the first time it was fired.

Very nice Roff. Not quite as nice as a bright orange Doxa of course, but nice all the same!

No, it's a really lovely piece.

Even worse than a bright orange Doxa....... my wife was going through Chronolog 08 this morning and declared that she wanted a more sporty watch than her Cockpit Lady for casual occasions, and how feasible was it to get her a Bronze on Bronze Super Ocean Heritage 38 :wowzers :huh

Suddenly Doxas seem better - I guess my decision over Legende or Avenger Skyland will have to wait

Beautiful watch Roffensian.

I have a definite attraction to the Cosmonaute.

I think it looks great on that strap also.

(And the photos are anything but poor) :)

Regards
Stuart
