Just got back a "Blacksteeled" Pro II for my avenger BS.
I know the overall distaste for the over-doing of the DLC stuff, but I am pretty pleased with it, really finishes off the watch. But then again, I really like bracelets. :lingsrock:

Looks like they did a good job. Is it the photo or do the colours not quite match? Will be interested to see how well it holds up - is it DLC or another form of PVD coating?

That's very cool!! If I decide do keep my blacksteel for the long run I was thinking about trying to do this with a blackbird bracelet. Mind if I ask how much the treatment ran on the bracelet?

I matches great! I saw the coloration in my pics (I am NOT Ron!!!!!!) but in person it looks spot on. It is a DLC coating. Same formula as Breitling I am told. Not cheap at $500, but pretty cool I think. 8)

Nicely done that. I like it. I've wondered about re doing the DLC on my BB which has a few scratches. Maybe I should let it get worse first though.

Doesn't look bad at all to me. I would wait, IMHO.
