Hello All

My name is Garret I am a college student very interested in luxury watches. I have owned numerous watches in the past handful of years and right now am about halfway saved to purchase a Breitling for Bentley 6.75 model all stainless steel with a silver(looks white to me though) dial. I live near Toledo Ohio so the nearest Tourneau is in Troy Michigan I called and they said the best price they could give me is 14% off the retail of $8835. So I kept calling different dealers then I called a certain jewelry store in Ann Arbor Michigan and they said they can sell to me at 30% so $6,184 (plus $30 to ship it to save me tax) off they are listed on the Breitling and Breitling for Bentley website as an authorized dealer and I also called Breitling and they said yes absolutely they are a dealer. The price just seems too good to be true. They said they can give me such a good price because they are the highest volume seller of Breitlings along the east coast. So i took a ride to Lewis Jewlers one day (only about an hour drive) and walked in and just acted like i was another customer strolling the store the place is kind of a dump but they carry a lot of high end watches and jewelry lines. I guess Im just kinda seeing what you guys think. I am not an expert on watches but I def know more than the average person.

Welcome!

I'd say that 30% off for a first time buyer is great, and as they are a legit AD you should be perfectly safe. Good luck with the shopping!

Welcome aboard.

Here in the "tight as cramp" UK it took me around 10 years to cultivate a relationship with my AD such that I was able to finally get 30% off my Bentley Motors.... and that was pure luck that I was in the right place at the right time, and he made it pretty clear it was a one-time happening. I'm lucky to get 10% usually.

You guys Stateside get some awesome deals, so yes 30% off as a first time buyer stikes me as pretty amazing, so I'd jump on that one in a heart-beat.

The silver dial is white - they just call it silver.

30% off is pretty good for a first time buy as others have said, but it certainly doesn't sound 'too good'.

Oh - and welcome to the boards

That is a good deal off, but you might want to edit your post not to include the dealer name as this is outside of Breitlings authorized discount amount of 15%. Dealers actually get in trouble for this ;)

On a lighter note, congrats and :welcome:

Welcome. You've held out for a beautiful watch. The discount you have been offered is good deal and even better watch. Some luxury watches don't offer any discount at all. Good luck with your purchase!:lingsrock:
