I've been lurking around here believe it or not, since last October, when my wife unexpectedly got me my first Breitling - however I had to put it away until our 20th Anniversary which was December! This was agony so I spent the time drooling over everyone else's on the forum, but now I can say I'm a fully fledged member so here is a belated "hello and thanks". I have always dreamed of having a Breitling but the closest I ever got was a copy Bentley from Turkey The real one came as a complete surprise and was an impulse purchase that my wife agreed to after seeing me drooling more than ever in the shop window! All I can say is that I'm so pleased with it and constantly amazed at it's accuracy. It is the only watch I've worn since getting it - I'm sure going by you people that the bug won't stop here! Anyhow, here is a picture of my pride and joy taken of my with my also new Nikon D300!

Welcome Phil Nice pic & lovely watch! Yes - the whole thing's addictive I'm afraid. You're very fortunate to have a wife who understands these things - I had to buy my 1st one myself (and the others too I may add) as "............my wife didn't understand me..........." No surprise that it's the only one you wear now - that will be the case until you get more - and more - and more, then you'll be stuck for choice and life becomes such a trial!! Only kidding - welcome to the madhouse - it's only a matter of when - not if!

Congrats on the lovely watch, as well as having the self control to not wear it for so long....No way I could do it! You better get out quick before the bug gets you, it can be very expensive (although there is no better feeling than researching and then pulling the trigger on a new Breitling).

Welcome, and congratulations on a great watch, great pic and great wife! I wish mine would could feel that impulse sometime...
