Hello all,

Just saying a formal G'day to the forums. I'm 25yo, resident in Auckland, New Zealand. Unfortunately, there is very little understanding of the watch bug down here (particularly the heavenly Breitlings), so I'm turning to you guys.

I've been reading the forums for a month or so, and have thoroughly enjoyed to informed debate that is to be found here. I'm still a slight imposter, as I don't have a Breitling yet - rest assured, this will be corrected shortly.

Looking forward to getting deeper into this addiction thing...

Hi Seabass, welcome aboard. Just beware, this forum is addictive and when you buy your first Ling, abandon all hope. Best wishes my friend....Wayne

Hello and welcome, Seebass! Have you made a decision which Breitling to buy first?

In fact, I have. I was chasing a Montbrillant Olympus, but it hasn't come up at the right price. I've found that any hesitation when you are bidding is usually a good sign that you aren't fully committed to the watch...

This has lead me to a decision. I intend to get a Chronomat Evolution in steel with silver dial. The first watch that left me truly dumbstruck. Timing depends on negotiations with the AD and overseas travel. I'll keep you informed :D

Great choice for your first! Good luck in your negotiations. Try for about 20% off list, that's a good start. Keep us posted on how you get on.
