welcome to the forum. its a fun little place to hang out. the navi world is a sweet looking watch. any problems with the gmt hand? a few of the members here seem to have a problem with that, and that's holding me back from buying one. post some pics if you get the chance!

Welcome, Corey! Florida seems to be a popular place for Ling collectors.

I've had no probs with the GMT hand on mine at all. It's just a beautiful watch. Get a World - you won't regret it!

Thank you all for the warm welcome(s). I have had no problem with the GMT hand, took a little bit of time to figure out how to set- but with the stem in the right position it was a snap.

Yes, Florida is becoming "the" place. I think it has become some-sort-of consumer mecca within the past ten years or so. With that said, it is not surprising that I have spotted a few Blancpain's, as well as an F.P. Journe or two in the past year.

Though it is intriguing watching people with extraordinary amounts of money wearing watches with such beauty and complication use their cell phone when they need the time. (Just a thought)

Welcome Corey!

I see what you describe every now and then - to me that's an unmistakable sign that someone's one bought the watch to show off their money, not because they appreciate the craftmanship and the timepiece.
