They said that Breilting told them everyone would get what they get. I guess it would be a logistical nightmare if they had to monitor what numbers went to each dealer...

I'm just saying, never hurts to put in the request...

Let's say Breitling gets a shipping from Switzerland. There are 10 blacksteels. 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969 etc. Ok they have all 10 sold to different AD's. I don't think it is that big of a deal to distribute to a certain one if there is a 'request' for it. Nothing will guarantee it but at least they know that you are looking for certain one. idk

we thread jacking now haha

J/K, I have no idea how that all works out. I'm sure it has something to do with marketing and exposure etc.

As for the Chinese angle... good one, hadn't thought of that :)

I am a pro football player.

My number is 23.

I like watches.

I can afford just about any watch I want.

Besides the obvious, what will make me buy a Breitling over something else? Oh, damn, Breitling is offering a limited watch with my number 23/3000 to me. Yea, I think I'll get it and wear it in public where the watch will be see in magazines, TV, shows

/obviously, that's just giving an example....

I'm not sure if its been done before or is done on regular basis, however, that is whats happening with this model.
