Dear forum members,

I've recently fallen in love with Toptime and I'm now considering buying either a 2002 or 810/815. What I've found during my search are three strong candidates. However being new to vintage Breitling, I feel insecure as to if these are true to the reference or if something is off. I was therefore hoping you could help by sharing your knowledge. The three candidates are supposedly all original and listed below:

ref 815:

and another dial picture + lume shot: https://imgur.com/a/bm85rUS

ref 810:

Do they seem honest and OK to purchase or is there any reason to back out in your opinion? Anyone standing out as the better pick?

Thank you in advance!

cheers
Heinz

2002 and 815 looks fine. 815 dial doesn’t look in great condition and you can normally find these quite minty.

The 810 is wrong (wrong dial and case combo)

By the way, could this one be an alternative? What I could see as potential issues with my untrained eyes is that the case is over polished and the lume looks a bit "dirty" (not sure if this is an issue or normal on untouched watches).

I do prefer to pay a bit more for a watch in very good condition rather than going for what is cheap. I figure, buying a watch in poor condition I will anyway not love to wear, seems like a very expensive idea.

This one seems to be in good condition (damaged glass at 6?), although the price of course also reflects this. Also no movement shot:

First one has the wrong hands on it.

Second one has the wrong pushers. Some might not care.

OK, I guess I need to be patient as I can't seem to find a good piece on the market at the moment.

The search continues..

Thanks!

That is an idea. I never really checked there for watches as I got the impression it was riskier than chrono24 for example.

I also have another option that appeals to me:

https://www.orologium.com/archive/breit ... ge-1960s-1

It reminds me of the Toptime mk1 case. He is asking 5300 usd

Anything to keep in mind here?
