Greetings from a newbie to the list, pardon in advance if I'm not doing things right. My dear friend and neighbor passed away recently and his wife asked me to look into two Brietling watches in his collection. I must say that after doing a bit of research I have some doubts. In the accompanying link, I've identified them as Brietling 1 and Brietling 2.
Brietling 1 is very light, and even though it looks like a chronometer there's nothing on the back that indicates this. Because the photo is unclear, I reproduce the text on the back

BRIETLING
SWISS QUARTZ
BB 30 SGO
F 82424
..RIQUE EN SUISSE

As I said this watch seems suspiciously light, and has worn on the back of the case to a strange grey, nonmetallic looking substance. Brietling 2 is heavier, but has no serial number or any marking on the back. Here is the Ibbimage share link: https://ibb.co/album/5gdJC1

Many thanks in advance, and again, apologies if this is a naive post from a newbie.
Morgan

Yep. You don't need my confirmation on top of Fred's, but yep.

Thank you both for your expertise. As I said, I had my doubts, and while my friend did have some nice and verifiably genuine watches in his collection, these looked odd. Fortunately, his wife hadn't given them to him!
Thanks again and stay well
