Post subject:  Help identify 1945 Breitling-like watch

Hello everyone

I found this watch among my passed grandpa's stuff. What I've found (here) is that it looks almost identical, well except brand name, to the 1945 Breitling Ref 174 chronograph (picture attached). I've never heard of this brand before, but is it normally possible that those two watches look the same? Or perhaps this watch is a fake or no-name copy? And how's your opinion is it worth to restore it considering its weak brand (?) and missing round pushers and some parts in the movement. Thank you in advance for your help.

Many brands bought movements, dials, hands from the same suppliers, so they sometimes look very similar.

manufactured by Breitling ("Precision" was one of a dozen or more brands that imported watches to the US in the 1940s before Breitling establishd US distribition in 1947)
serial checks out as ref. 174 in the Breitling manufacturing ledgers.

What’s the story on these! Breitling made or just same sourced parts?
