Hi. Good day.
I bought a Breitling chronograph watch that raised some suspicions of authenticity.
I started googling to find answers.
First I found that in breitling museum they have a breitling with the same serial number but different type of watch. Similar but not the same.
Then I found with the same serial number a Rewel brand watch practically the same that only differs with its brand on the dial, its brand stamped on the lid and a white border on the dial. But they have up to the same hitting depth in the stamping of the reference number (92605).
Attached image for you to see what I mean. If you want them in high quality let me know.
I would like to know if Breitling made watches for Rewel and viceversa; or if what I have bought is an imitation.
I appreciate your help and I apologize for writing in bad English: I only speak Spanish and a little English.
Thank you

While I could be wrong, I would suggest that your "Breitling" is actually a Rewel with Breitling painted onto the dial and stamped on the caseback and movement parts because someone thought they could make more money from a watch branded as Breitling rather than Rewel.

Thank you very much for answering. If that is how you say it, they did a good job, since the brand of the back seems to be from the factory and very centered with the reference mark 92605. The bridge has that stain but it seems mechanically marked too. And you don't see a paper on the Breitling brand with the naked eye on the dial. So I bought it. The value was not high and I wanted to look at it closely.

92605 is not a Breitling reference number. They are 3 or 4 digits.
