I am looking to Id a watch i have recently bought, i ahve no clue about watches (i am only 19 ) but would like to learn more.
it seems i am missing a part and if anyone knows where i can get it please let me know. it seems to be the top bit.

i really hope you can help me ID this

OK, the photo doesn’t show the actual problem you described, but it sounds like you are missing the crown. It’s probably not something you can replace yourself, so you will need to find a watchmaker that can source a part and fit it for you. However, given the watch is a stopwatch of relatively low value, you might find the cost of repair proportionally high. Unless this has some non-monetary value tp you, you might not consider it worth repairing at all.

yes i believe it to be the crown. i will talk with a watch maker and get a quote.

do you know anything else about this stop watch (estimated age etc.) also what would you consider low value ? just as an idea so i can consider a watchmakers quote and decide whether to proceed or not.

it has not emotional value to me except being my first breitling.

Based on this similar one that sold on eBay, and nothing else, it looks like yours is from the 1960s and worth a few hundred dollars, maybe a little more because of the red "60" and "30", if stopwatch collectors like that kind of thing.
