Hi all,

First of all sorry to start of with a question without proper introduction.

I got offered this Top Time 810. The dial has some problems but other than that, what do you think? i'm familiar with Rolex but not with Breitling so any help here is much appreciated, thanks.

the subdials are a bit blurry on the pictures. I was told this is reflection.

besides the obvious slight dial damage the watch seems all correct, a Mk2.2

thanks, very helpful :)

how hard would it be to find a replacement (NOS) dial? i see several on Ebay for around 500 USD, but its hard to tell if these are original or not.

Is this the watch that was offered in Netherlands or Belgium (cant recall) ? I was told the seller pulled the advertisement because of concerns of water damage to the mechanism. Just what I heard so check if you proceed.

There is/was a silver dial on ebay in Florida but if the one i am thinking of is the same one you saw, there is a dent in the dial between the 11 and 12 markers. The same seller had a black one that went to a watchmaker but had the dial feet cut off. There were 2 others recently sold as well from Czech. Basically there were 4 in a short period but I can't recall seeing any others for sale in recent memory (at least on eBay) outside of this cluster of 4.

It was listed a week or two ago in The Netherlands. The seller bought it and decided he wants a Navitimer after all. I met him today and bought the watch. He's a watchmaker himself and the movement is all good. The dial is in real life in better shape then on the pictures so i think i'm keeping it as-is for now.

i found these dials on Ebay:

Well, a quick look shows these dials have 2 subdials and your new 810 has 3, so getting any them to fit your watch will be tricky! :wowzers. These dials are for the smaller 36mm 2000 series Top Time ( eg 2002). Your 810 is a 38mm case.
