Post subject:  Help about a vintage Chronomat

Hi, guys.

Once again (only second time... ) here asking for experts' help previous to possible purchase.

Put my curious eyes on this one. How do you see it? Should not this combination of hands have a couple of red ones (the right sub-counter hand and the second hand)? Plus... were not this hands for the gold models?

Any opinion welcome.

The case and movement seems with no issues to me, that's way I dont attach pics. The serial number is a 55XXXXXX.

As far as I know is a reference 769, isn't it?

thx!

Thanks, Fred.

Hands are golden, don't know if solid gold.

Case is base metal and caseback is stainless steel.

So everything looks good to you?

I was expecting some issues, not to have to make the decission if purchasing it or not. :0))))

gold colored hands on that dial are incorrect, sadly, as the applied indexes and the hands need to be the same color.

Will check it in naked eye next week, but from the pics I think that applied indexes are golden too.

Just to clarify since my eyes are not what they used to be: what is the case? Steel or gold?

Sorry, these are the only pics I've got.

Stainless steel caseback.

Breitling signed crown.

And case looks like ss too, although the seller says is metal non steel.
