Hello, here in this heated discussion.
Quote:
unless someone shows me 2 pieces , with proper provenance, that are close together in serial , same reference but show unexplained differences

Dracha, I look for years to all Breitling Datoras in the Internet, I saw minimum 3 exactly in every detail identic ref. 243-26 in the past 3 years and 5 exact identic 244-94 of different sources, recently there are 2 exact identic Datoras in the internet, a 243-26 with serial no. 802759, Estelau had 802709, and a 244-94 with serial-no.. 802466, Estelau had 802278
I dont understand the quarrels here. Both Datoras are 100 % genuine.

All 244-94 have a gilded movement without "Breitling" sign, all 244-26 and 243-26 have a metal movement with gildet ring around the "incablock" with the Breitling-sign left and "17 jewels" right at the movement not centered.

Yep, shocking isn't it.

Strikes me that the most permanent solution to all of this stupidity is simply to ignore, as we learned from the 'largest watch forum in the world' if there is no response the whole thing falls apart.

I was just thinking the same thing. Like minds. Didn't they bait us into a war the same way.

Thanks Roff!!

It seems, Mr März is selling a similar watch:

It's not necessary to dicuss again if it's authentic or not...

not similar but the same

where's the '-' between the reference numbers ?
'Breitling 17 jewels' is engraved, not stamped, and filled in with colour recently

why is there no 'B Breitling' engraved on the back cover (inside or outside) when a supposedly other genuine datora , some 200 pieces apart according to the serial number even has the back cover engraved twice ? (I believe that one is fake as well but I just wanted to use it as an example)

Why is the movement not gilded when a supposedly other genuine datora , some 200 pieces apart according to the serial number has a gilded movement ?

etc etc etc

as I said ., too many questions hence my reasoning that the Breitling datora with reference 243 - 26 and serial number 802759 is a fake

Totally agree with you and my points exactly. Think we let this thread die on the vine. Getting a life of its own.

Agree with you. We should close this thread. Maybe in a few years we have more information about these Datoras.

One thing for the end: My 244-26 has also this broad - between the reference, not unusual. And again: Datoras have been no massproducts in these times, so differences can be normal, especially if the reference is not the same ;)

I am new here and say hello to everyone. I life near cologne in germany.

I am the buyer of this rare Datora. I got the watch this morning and showed it to the Breitling specialists for review 2 hours ago, who confirmed the authenticity and 100 %originality .

To my great surprise, he immediately offered me 5 times more for the watch, as I had paid.

What do you say, what should i do now ?

If this is true, why are you asking??? You sell it!! You will never see that kind of profit again.

I knew you were going to say that. Come on man!!! We are not here to tell you when to turn left or right. It is your decision. Make up your own mind. This is not a question to be asking on this forum unless you are just doing it to boast about some alleged huge offer. I am sure the majority of those here are not interested in such juvenile activity.

I'm being childish and apologize, but could not think of a more adequate response.
