Do you know what this is?
from my research it seems to be a '67 BREITLING Chronograph Geneve NAVITIMER
the back is hard to read about all i can make out is 11525/67
I've been asked by my father to value it with the mind to sell.

it is a "big case" Chronomat ref. 1808, "Chrono-Matic", i.e. based on the Cal.11/12 Breitling/Heuer/Bueren automatic chronograph movement; manufactured between 1969 and approx. 1975 (no exact info when the last were assembled).

the number you are quoting is the Swiss "Brevet" or patent, covering the waterproof turning bezel.

thanks for the info - big case is not an understatement.
its quite scratched on the glass and the bezel doesn't turn - is it worth servicing/renovating?

Now i know what model it is, thanks WatchFred, i've not seen any with same colour sub dials. does that make it more or less desirable?

re your first question: yes, definitely worth servicing, though I do hope that the crystal scratches can be polished out(should be no problem if they are not too deep, your pic is not the best...), replacement crystals are very, very rare and quite expensive.

white/white dial: I personally prefer the white/white 1808 dials and they are quite a bit rarer as you state, tend to fetch better prices.

giving you a reliable estimate of value is impossible without better pics, but a fully functioning white/white ref. 1808 in decent condition should fetch around $1.8-2k at least with a little patience, maybe a little bit more; asking prices are typically quite a bit higher.

Here's the one I had last year. Crystal cost me $90 but they're out there. Had it serviced before selling.

I've freed up the bezel and been wearing it all day and its kept perfect time. Its been in a drawer for 5 years or more so probably just need to be used for a bit.

I sold it for about that amount. If you don't know when your piece was last serviced I'd have it serviced before wearing regularly again. These movements are very hard to find replacement parts for so a cleaning and oiling would be wise before wearing it again.
