unusual to say the least. the crown and the incorrect post67 TopTime dial (behind a wrong tachy ring) might be authentic, so it does classify as Franken.  did not find info about patent 236672 in the database, so no leads what this might have been. sad piece, hope nobody is tempted. for comparison, this is how a 1965 Top Time looks.

I thought I was slowly learning how to spot a fake top time.. but I can't see anything that fred has listed here!" then realised I was looking at the pic of the real one, and not the fake as I misread your post to be! |
