Looking for a strap for my 785. Is this 18mm strap an Original Breitling? And what 16mm clasp will go on it?

real, San. It needs a 16mm Deployant clasp, afaik no branded gold or gold plated versions available, only steel. so probably not the best combo for an 18k 785.

Thanks Fred, think would have looked really nice on the 785. Are aftermarket gold clasps easily available? But is quite hard to match the case colour in the exact rose gold tone even if there were I guess.

edit: wrong type, these clasps do not work w/ the Breitling deployant straps.

Thanks Fred, got excited for a while:(. The other option maybe to gold plate the steel ones if someone does it?

well, apparently 18k versions of the 16mm OEM deployant do exist, but frankly I do not think the branded buckle would be a good fit with the vintage Datora - not too cheap either.

Wow, that's a shocking price it sold for:)..you are right, the deployment clasp might not look that great great though the leather is surely a looker.
