My guess would be it has the wrong dial. 1965 is pretty late for black subs I think. The Iraqi back would require the Iraqi wings on the dial.

Definitely too late, 62 is about as late as it ever gets for all black I think.

seller is quite full of it, have a look at the 782 he is selling - for "only" $5,500, dial refinished.
do not think there was a combination of "new" non-beaded bezel and all black dial.
