Hi guys,

I saw this watch on another forum. The owner claims that it has v72 movement, and was made by Breitling.
Please help to identify!

Thank you!

NOT made by Breitling, but by Charles Gigandet
Beautiful watch, outstanding movement (V72C or V730).
Marketed by Wakmann under the Wakmann, Gigandet and Vulcain brand.

if you search for Wakmann Datora in the vintage section of the forum
you will finds loads of info about it.

The Gigandet "Triple Date" Chronographs are beautiful watches - and quite affordable compared to other watches based on the Valjoux 72C or Valjoux 730.

Sellers often (almost always) try to add value to an admittedly undervalued watch by claiming it was produced by Breitling and call it a Breitling Wakmann Datora.
